Champion Township Natural Gas Aggregation Program

Welcome to the Champion Township Natural Gas Aggregation Program! In November of 2006, the voters authorized the Township to create a natural gas aggregation program whereby retail natural gas consumers would be automatically included in a large buying group unless, subject to prior notice, they followed a stated procedure to opt-out. Any eligible retail natural gas consumer in Champion Township has the ability to decline service, opt-out of the aggregate, or choose any other alternative competitive retail natural gas supplier.

Monthly Variable Rate

  • Initially the program rate will be a monthly variable rate provided on a month-to-month basis.
  • The Monthly Variable Rate will be calculated based on a formula including a fixed delivery adder of $1.906 per MCF and NYMEX Market prices for the period to be served.
  • It is the intent of the Township and Integrys to lock into a Locked-In Price with Flex Down OpportunitySM Rate when a strategic buying opportunity presents itself.
  • The Locked-in Price with Flex Down OpportunitySM Rate: will never increase beyond the locked-in price regardless of how much the market increases.
  • The Monthly Variable Rate (or the Locked-in Rate, when it is determined) will be available on this page; or by calling 1-866-468-3117.
  • Customers that choose to leave the program after the Opt-out Period may be assessed a $25 exit fee.
