As you may already be aware, WPS Energy Services’ parent company, WPS Resources Corp., previously announced plans to merge with Peoples Energy Corporation, which operates two of Illinois’ largest natural gas utilities. This merger requires approval from state and federal regulators as well as shareholders of both companies. With proper approvals, the merger is expected to take in the first quarter of 2007. At that time, the name of our parent Company will change to Integrys Energy Group, Inc. Our name will change to Integrys Energy Services, Inc.
